Nobody’s buying your stock anyway, because the numbers already suck. And maybe you can slingshot out of it next year.

Well, Hafner’s been in a steady decline for a long time. If it’s the shoulder, and it takes a year of physical therapy and conditioning to make him Hafner again, it may as well be this year. Same for Fausto—that was a lot of innings. If he needs to ride this out, prepare his arm for the rest of his career, hey, cool by me. Victor, man, you been starting lots of games for years now. Take ‘er easy for a bit. Have a Fanta. Get better. Andy, you want three straight months’ of starts to find your groove? Have at ‘em. Swing hard, dude. Laffey, Sowers? Get your acts together.
