Talonk nailed it: A third baseman has never made an unassisted triple play.
I tried to make Paul Reuschel my Avatar, but he didn't fit into the box.

It is mechanically impossible unless the runner on second falls down, or if he forgets the number of outs and strays away from the basepath… or If the manager is a moron and orders a hit-and-run with the bases loaded and no outs.

The only possible scenario would be where the 3B is positioned where the SS plays during one of the Hafner/Ortiz/Thome shifts. But I am not sure that drastic of a shift would happen with guys on 1B and 2B, too easy to steal 3B (unless its a guy like Vic on 2nd).
