Actually, a decent sized winning “zone” would put us right back in it. I don’t want to call it a streak, because I’m hoping it’s just us returning to the level we’re capable of but we are still very much in this.

eh, no problems in the field, approach looked so-so at the plate. Still a free swinger, 0-4 with three flyouts.

He had one AB where he saw 5 pitches. That’s about as big picture as you can get. The last flyout was well hit.

His at-bats looked bad, by and large. He seemed anxious to do something big and was swinging at pitches well outside the zone. On the bright side, his swing looked much more compact than I remember (although with more of an upper-cut than he needs).
