So far so good, but let’s not be promoting him anywhere just yet. Last night was his first XBH, and we’re still waiting for a walk. 2009 is looking up.
I don’t know who’s in the area, but I’m thinking about catching a game or two out in Reading.
Tonight 6:35, Sunday 1:05, Monday 12:05. Who’s up for it?
i wish i had $100 million so i could do things like this on a whim

I would, but that’s 3 hours of driving each way. And with Gas being what it is, and no one eager to share the costs that’s tough for me to do on short notice.
If any DC folk want to share a ride to Reading, respond to this by 9pm Saturday and we can make it happen. I have a clean automobile and a decent driving record.
As a heads up, more than likely LaPorta and Hodges won’t play either game because of the futures game. Though maybe they’ll play Monday seeing how close it is.
As I posted in the thread about the ESPN Broadcast of the Future’s Game, I almost drove 200 miles round trip to Reading for Saturday’s game, but decided not to because my son is the staring pitcher in his tournament game Sunday morning at 9:00 am.
Jay, if you went on Saturday night, I hope you were able to enjoy the fireworks.
The Aeros are in Trenton August 7, 8 and 9. If LaPorta hasn’t been moved up by then, I will definitely attend one of those games and will probably take one in even if he’s not there. Anyone else in the mid-Atlantic region up for a game?
