yeah…. while it might be nice that the Indians are showing a bit of a pulse, I would’ve been perfectly fine with them sucking through the AS break… the only teams they’re helping with their outburst here over the last three games are the Red Sox and the Yankees….. hell, they can’t even lose to the right teams…. didn’t someone tell them that the Rays are the feel-good story of the year….. but then, if the Rays can’t pummel a guy like Ginter, I don’t know if how much longer they’re going to be feeling good….

Donovan is living like 5 years behind present time with all the references to ancient players. He already praised Montgomery, the early ‘90s closer for the royals, and now he mentions Baldelli. Perhaps it’s a deliberate time machine on his part. Who knows.

It’s Rock-n-Blast nights. I went to the game last night and the show was weaker than the typical Friday night firework show. They brought in some church choir and had them sing in between barrages. The net result was too much choir singing and not enough badass firework blasts. About 2/3rds of the crowd had left before the end of the entire show. It was that bad.

The one I saw last year was decent, I guess, save for the lip-synching Michael Stanley bit. That was just pathetic.

The problem Garza is having, apparently, is that “his pitches have been hitting the Indians bats.”
