Game Ninety-Three: Indians 8, Rays 4
| Highest WPA | Lowest WPA | ||
| Ryan Garko | .232 | Kelly Shoppach | -.042 |
| Matt Ginter | .164 | Jhonny Peralta | -.023 |
| Grady Sizemore | .103 | Ben Francisco | -.021 |
Not pictured in the Lowest WPA standings was Juan Rincon, who only managed a -.012 WPA despite giving up 4 runs. But thanks to Matt Ginter, Rincon's adventures didn't matter.
It's probably not going to last, so we might as well heap praise on him when we can. Ginter did well more than was remotely expected of him, not only eating 5 innings, but eating 5 scoreless innings. Meanwhile the offense did something equally unexpected: knock a starting pitcher around. Ryan Garko, whose starting job is slowly slipping away, hit a home run and a double, which were his first extra-base hits since June 9th.

Dear Mr. Sabean, I hear you have a reputation of being stupid. Want to deal Lincecum or Cain? You can pick THREE of these 4 players for either: Borowski, Dellucci, Blake, Byrd.
