and Beckett/Saunders is better than Sowers/Batista

Dear Mr. Sabean, I hear you have a reputation of being stupid. Want to deal Lincecum or Cain? You can pick THREE of these 4 players for either: Borowski, Dellucci, Blake, Byrd.

Grady’s already had 2 of the past 3 days off… why DH him? He HATES DHing, if I’m remembering his past comments right.

Why would they schedule a game at an hour where they know that no one will be able to watch?

You realize this happens like 4 times a year?

by afh4 on Jul 19, 2008 3:58 PM EDT up reply actions

Haha still doesn’t cease to amaze me though. Have we had this happen since the time in Oakland earlier this year where they started showing terrible graphics?

by supermarioelia on Jul 19, 2008 3:59 PM EDT up reply actions

The game was originally scheduled to be on FOX; that’s why it started at 12:55 in Seattle. When Seattle and Cleveland tanked, FOX dumped the game.

by afh4 on Jul 19, 2008 4:43 PM EDT up reply actions

Pretty much. It’s funny, we took our relatives from Italy down to Toronto a couple weekends ago, and they quickly realized that when you eavesdrop of the conversations of others, NO ONE speaks English. It’s pretty hilarious. They basically stay in Toronto because they have some distant relative or some distant family friend who lives in the city, or they’re from a country which has a decent-sized community in Toronto. Which is pretty much every country in the world. When the soccer u-20 championships were in Toronto last summer, every participating country filled half the stadium with its local countrymen.

Hey, Chuck. And maybe Mario. I have this ongoing debate with my friend:

He wants to order an off brand, foreign made, version of proscar (finasteride) from an online, Indian pharmacy, quarter it, and take it to prevent hair loss. He says the risk is minimal at the most.

I think he might be insane. Thoughts?

Well if it’s safe or whatever, it’s the same thing as propecia just without a prescription. His argument is that propecia is a silly thing to need a prescription of anyway if you’re healthy.

I’m pretty hesitant about self-prescribing as well as ordering knock off pills.

by afh4 on Jul 19, 2008 6:16 PM EDT up reply actions

Oh yeah sure – Indian on-line drugs. What could possibly be safer? Why wouldn’t you risk life and limb to treat a cosmetic condition? Let me know how that turns out, will ya?
