I hate west coast games. I mean, is it REALLY too much to ask to start all the contests around 730pm, EST?

Breslow gave up a run
The Indians are now validated in letting him go
by ahowie on Jul 21, 2008 9:50 PM EDT 0 recs
About time. Been waiting a while for that validation.

For a team with the best record in baseball, why is nobody at that game?
by xrickx on Jul 21, 2008 10:11 PM EDT 0 recs
Not that I really miss him, but I haven’t heard a peep about Elerton since he was placed on the DL. Usually some word tends to leak about, like with Rhodes a few years ago
by millionairesrow on Jul 21, 2008 10:11 PM EDT 0 recs
I didn’t realize until today that he got moved to the 60-day DL with whatever is ailing him when Ginter was called up.

So I heard something crazy during the Bluejays broadcast tonight…
Were we aware that Ben was leading the league in outfield assists?
by supermarioelia on Jul 21, 2008 10:12 PM EDT 0 recs
hahaha “ball 5”
oh and “this is unlike Paul Byrd” really?
by ahowie on Jul 21, 2008 10:18 PM EDT 0 recs
if you thought cleveland had a rough time filling the three-hole, check out maicer izturis

how many of those ER given up by Sowers? all three or just two? four?
Dear Mr. Sabean, I hear you have a reputation of being stupid. Want to deal Lincecum or Cain? You can pick THREE of these 4 players for either: Borowski, Dellucci, Blake, Byrd.

So, I recently was surprised to discover that other websites have not caught on to the “z” revolution. (Could have been the Dortmunder).

Angels Outfield
Garry Mathews Jr. and Vlad
Tori Hunter and Garret Anderson
Not a bad roster of outfielders providing mediocre results this year,
in my opinion.

I just can’t believe the Joker is Michael Caine’s son. How are they gonna wrap that one up? I mean especially when Alfred kills all those people.

I thought it was good, Ledger’s performace was good, but I don’t see it as the legendary performace some people are making it out to be

Agreed. My only note is that that playing a sadistic, serial killer clown is much different than almost other role in the movies. I think it’s one that just lends itself to over the top performaces, and it really makes it difficult to compare with other roles.

It’s a batshit insane (good) performance.
I forgot the guy was dead until 3/4ths into the movie. I was so wrapped up in the character.

A damn good movie anyway? Yes.

Clearly that title goes to Kazaam, but come on, if we have to hang that caveat before EVERY movie we discuss we’re never gonna get anywhere.
