LGT Fantasy Football
For those who were in last year's ESPN Keeper League, it's up again. Also! The Keeper Deadline is set for next Wednesday.
We'll talk more about a draft when it gets closer, but for now, keep your eye out for any league emails.
And for those who didn't partake last year, we might have an open spot or two if owners don't want to participate.
Consider this an Open Thread. I'm driking a Viura and Chardonnay mix-wine from Navarra.

I was in the league last year but I don’t remember any of my players. I missed the last couple of months when I was in the hospital. Did I win??

I’d be up for taking any free spot, if available. Just tossing my hat in the ring.
Still the local "Barfield Bounces Back Believer" and also has hopes for Gutz. Free Marte.

That’s like saying; “I’m drinking a pop. Room temperature with Ice”

Me, too. If nothing else, I suppose there’s the thing SBN plastered all over the front page, at least if I access via IE.

Wow. My team was horrid at RB. Do we have to keep 2, or do we get earlier picks if we keep 1 or 0?

What are the rules of a keeper league? I’ve never been in one before.

For every player you select to keep, you forfeit a pick. If you keep no players, you re-draft in every round. If you keep 1 player, you forfeit your first round pick. If you keep 2 players, you forfeit your first and second round picks.

No efphing way—I just checked my team from last year, and I won! I won!!! You’re kidding me! That means I missed out on six months worth of talking trash on this site. I’m going to have to make up for that until September, so beware.
Johnson City FightinPacifists, whoever you are, you suck—I destroyed you in the championship game! (actually, I won by 6 points) Loser!!

As a guy who slaves over his teams just to miss the playoffs, I hate you.

I always slave over my teams, too – until that damn car accident thing happened. I was in the hospital during the last few weeks of the football season, completely unaware of what was going on around me (let alone a fantasy football league).
Of course, I woke up just in time to see OSU lose the national championship game and the Browns blow their chance at the playoffs. It almost made me wish I would have stayed out of it.

Uh, that was me. Thanks for being a jerk after I explained the rules of the league you beat me at. Now I’ll re-double my efforts to beat you this year.

Well, uh, good thing I waited until afterwards to gloat then. Thanks for your help!

No problem. I’m looking forward to a friendly rivalry with some trash talking as last year’s best teams.
