I admit to having been completely excited and satisfied by last year’s competition. The showdown between the two was awesome. Although I wondered why they didn’t disqualify Kobayashi for his obvious “reversal of fortune” towards the end. Perhaps because he did a pretty good job of keeping it in and getting it back down….true athleticism.

I love to find out who wins these things, but I can’t stand to watch … it’s not the gorging oneself on hot dogs that’s disgusting, it’s dipping the buns in water.

Ewwwww. Wet bread.

(However this does not count dipping one’s toast into coffee or hot chocolate — that is acceptable.)

I did a Google image search for "Andy Marte." It turned up zero results.
