T.J. House Apparently Set to Sign for $1M

This might be a good place to keep track of draft signings over the next day and a half.

I think Haley (2nd), Putnam (5th), and Stowell (22nd) are some of the big picks still without contracts. The vibes seem pretty positive regarding signing all of them.

I'm sure that Nosco character hates each one of them.

With House signing and if Haley and Putnam sign, that would mean our highest draft pick not signed would be #17, Mitch Mormann, RHP Des Moines CC.

If the three sign above as noted, we would end up with 27 of the 50 signed.

It’s looking like a pretty big haul this year, and that I spoke too soon in lambasting the Red Sox for blowing away slot on a very late pick. Shoot, this guy will get nearly as much—or maybe more—than Chisenhall.

Sarcoidosis seems to make the list on that show a lot too. Pour a little out for Bernie Mac.

Hopefully he becomes a closer, and they play ‘Teardrop’ when he comes out from the bullpen.

Stowell had a pretty nice summer in the Cape Cod league.

45.2 IP, 3-1 W/L, 2.36 ERA, 32 H, 9 BB, 58K in 9 appearances (6 starts).

Ok, so what I get from Nosco’s rants is that we should have spent all that $2M by drafting the one “right” guy in the 1st round and then have no $$ to sign the rest of our draft? Or am I just misreading that entirely?
