Someone tell me why baseball and softball are getting kicked out of the Olympics yet trampoline is allowed. Trampoline?? That’s not a sport, that’s something you do in your backyard.
I was watching it this afternoon and the announcer mentioned that a certain girl was “the most decorated modern trampolinist.” Modern trampolinist?! As opposed to, you know, all those ancient trampolinists?

Jeremy Sowers v. The Los Angeles Angels Of Anaheim. Yup.
No big deal. If things go south early, we can always cue up “Sweet Georgia Brown” and go to the bullpen in, like, the third inning.
Hoo boy. Maybe we should just get there early and sit at the bar.

Betancourt. Fabulous.
Travis Hafner is overrated. Clarity is underrated. David Dellucci is David Dellucci.

40 games x 1.5 AB/game (before being pinch hit for) isn’t much chance. I’m not even a huge Marte believer. I just want to see what he can do. We’ll never know.

Does Eric Wedge really have to love 0 Ks from Carmona? Do any front line starters ever go 6 without a K?

history might tell you that he’s likely not the only frontline starter to ever go six innings and now have a strikeout. That he got 16 groundballs to 5 flyballs is pretty impressive, and don’t think that it was luck
