PrintMy name is Eric SanInocencio, and I'm the host of Baseball Digest Daily Live, a weekly podcast every Saturday from 12-1 ET.
Back when the CC/Matt LaPorta trade was signed off on, I had the chance to bring Matt in studio with us to describe what turned out to be a crazy week for the top prospect. He spent quite a bit of time with us, just breaking down all the little things that happened as he got uprooted mid-season. I know this interview is a bit old, but I never got the chance to post it on this site, so I figured I'd give all Indians fans a chance to hear from a guy that will likely be a big part of your future (assuming he stops getting beaned by Chinese pitchers).
The inteview begins about 43 minutes into the show, and he joined us for most of our final segment. In addition to LaPorta, I've interview tons of other top prospects (Chris Tillman, Austin Jackson), so I'll leave a link if you'd like to check out any of those shows. Thanks and I hope you enjoy it.
