The bumperstickers are completely fake. They don’t use Obama’s very consistent style and “O” logo, and c’mon, what are the odds the campaign keeps it this tight and then trusts a Kansas printing company?

Yea. I play a lot of indy games and shooters (Battlefield 2 for a year or so). I love RPG’s … but the western RPG has totally sucked since Bioware cashed in and other companies bit the bullet.
I have zero desire to play any of the new generation consoles. All the games look like the same old tired mechanics, with a new coat of paint.

Have you heard of a Russian company called 1C yet? They are a company that is taking a lot of old classics and revamping them with no graphics. They made a cool remake of the old SSI game Fantasy General. It’s called Fantasy Wars. A hex-based strat game with some rpg mechanics. They are also releasing King’s Bounty remake this fall (a Sega Genesis classic).
You can probably find a demo of Fantasy Wars on there. It didn’t make the store shelves in the US (even though Atari was the publisher).

Well, you know, he’s all about Dylan of course. Those are both from his last record, which is his only fully produced one, and it’s quite diverse in terms of arrangements and production. I was just talking to him about what he wants to do next, and he said sometimes he thinks he wants to do an all-rocker record, sometimes something more elaborate like the last one.

I don’t really know — how many weak-ass low-ceiling 1B do we really need on the 40-man, that’s the question.
Aubrey will get a fourth option year if we keep him around, but Brown isn’t even on the 40-man yet. With his weak stats, lack of valuable bench skills and injury history, maybe we just take our chances and expose him to Rule 5.

Do you think he has any trade value? I mean those previous awards, his past K:BB ration and his (relative) youth have to hold some value for a team. Someone like the A’s?
I ask this, because I believe La Porta or Victor is our 1b of the future and I don’t see how Brown fits into our organization right now.

I don’t think anyone cares about those awards, per se. I mean, Victor was EL MVP back in 2002, but it’s a little different when you’re a switch-hitting catcher whose OPS is 100 points above the second-best hitter in the league.

“Bottom of the fifth, Texas has two on with Hamilton coming to bat. I’ll tell ya, Mike, Jeremy Sowers hasn’t given up a three-run bomb in what feels like months!”
“Welcome back to the park, Tom Hamilton and Mike Heegan with you. You know, I was just thinking that it’s been 65 years since we had a starting pitcher inexplicably collapse and convulse on the mound during an inning!”

US comes back with 3-run HR to tie at 4.
commentator on LaPorta
LaPorta fights off a high fastball for an opposite-field single.
The name on the back of the jersey is the same, but the person currently wearing LaPorta bares to resemblance to the guy who was trying to take every outside fastball he saw down the left-field line in the first half of the tournament
