Hodges and Laporta go back to back. Scott Lewis is awesome. Carlos Rivero doesn’t like not being the best Carlos in Kinston.
This Carlos Rivero thing is positively enthralling.
Scott Lewis really was good all these years. Huh.
Oh I saw it. I saw it.
I wonder what kind of pitch limit he’s going to be on next year, if any. If he’s cut loose he’s got to be right there with Laff, Sowers, Reyes, and Jax right? Assuming a Reyes re-sign.
I have no idea what sort of thoughts/plans the FO has for Lewis. When you look at his numbers, it seems as if he is one of the most under-the-radar pitching prospects in the game. He seemed to be tagged very early with “stuff won’t cut it” and “injury problems/history” labels…but now he’s doing what he’s always done against guys as close to the bigs as you can get.
I may be behind, but it looks liek the chances of Vic batting this inning are way up.

very good point.
Travis Hafner is overrated. Clarity is underrated. David Dellucci is David Dellucci.
I would hate him even if he homered there.

JP was trying to conserve Vic’s energy by not giving him too many PAs tonight.

watching the game here in seattle on fox sports nw and the field microphone was picking up the umpire – who seemed rather upset with shoppach – barking about ‘setting up outside’ and other things i couldn’t quite make out. seemed very odd. but interesting.
oh, and sowers is very hittable.

No. It just means it is going to be that much more incredible.
