Indians game recap from 1955
Here's the game. Found this in a history teacher's room. Sort of cool.

Of all the things people ask to make into a series, I think I’ve only ever repeated the one people seem to like least (Shapiro’s House) and I think am most sure I’ll never do an installment of the one people seem to want most (Dysfunction at the Bat). Letters From The Future, though, that one I think about doing again. It’s like a fun arts and crafts project.
I dunno what you’re talking about, but I think I like Shapiro’s House the best out of all of those.

I’m going to start ordering coffee mugs with random photos of Andrew on them from that photo stream.
Il faut d'abord durer.
The first paragraph of the article about the Boston-Chicago game is so very quaint:
The White Sox, who enjoyed complete relaxation yesterday by courtesy of their boss, Marty Marion, will resume business affairs in Comiskey park tonight in the opener of a two-game series with Boston’s Red Sox, who now have the willowy Ted Williams, noted fisherman and hitter, back in their employment.
