Castro has a preview of the opening of Jackass Stadium, in which Steinbrenner uses his time machine to forecast the Indians' lineup on April 16.

Marte starting at third and no DeRosa? Glad that the Yanks are watching us so closely . . .

Marte has a good a shot at starting this game as A-rod does.

Just to get Wood a 3-run save? Personally, I’d rather we drop 22 runs on them and save Wood for later in the series.

I still feel giddy about putting on those 6 extra runs in the 9th.

Yeah. Totally appropriate. Wasn’t this the game on Steinbrenner’s birthday?
Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
Different blowout, but we did hand them one that coincided with George’s Birthday. The birthday blowout wound up at 19-1, and it happened in Cleveland on July 4th, 2006. We were hitting them at roughly the same rate that night as we did in the prior blowout; If we had the bottom half of the 9th to work with we could have done some more damage. But hey, I can’t complain.
We have a knack for spoiling their parties.
That was a Sowers start, if I’m not mistaken. Ah, those were the days.
