I knew this was going to be a Strasburg thread. But, then you’re caption confused me.
Ben Francisco's only fan on LGT
The Nats don’t have much to lose by choosing him, right? If they don’t sign him, he loses a year of development (I mean, he’ll probably play in the indy leagues or stay at SDSU or whatever) and they get another pick in next year’s first round. I bet they pick him & he signs for something like $12 mil, just so Boras can say he got the highest signing bonus ever for a draftee.
DISCLAIMER: I may be bitter.
Or else, they finish last and pick him again. I would love to see that scenario play out.
