Site Update: AP Photos, and New Team and Player Pages

Earlier this morning, some exciting new features were added to Let's Go Tribe.

First of all, the player pages have been greatly improved. Each page now has a scouting report, career stats, career transactions (an extremely useful feature), and links to posts around SB Nation relating to that player. Here's an example.

The team page has also expanded. It now contains the score of the latest game, a schedule, a roster, an injury breakdown, and links to posts around SB Nation about the team. Here's the Indians page.

And finally, story authors have access to use AP photos in their posts. So a game recap can now include a photo from a game that just ended, which from my perspective is amazing. Also, by clicking on the photo, users can see an automated gallery of related photos.

Every time these guys make an update to this site, I need the Plain Dealer less and less. I used to go there for some of the game photos, NO MORE!

Decimals for counting stats is kinda ridiculous, no?

This is something that’s been brought up, and it’s going to get fixed.

I approve.

Travis Hafner is overrated. Clarity is underrated. David Dellucci is David Dellucci.

Kevin Correia makes a funny face as he tries to perfect the art of balancing a baseball on the tip of ones index finger.
