Might Jackson start in SLew’s place, with another longman on board?

Oh Lord. Not Sowers, Not Sowers, Not Sowers, Not Sowers.

When is Laffey scheduled to start in Columbus?

Chillax there MTF, this is just a stop-gap RP move. One a the other RPs’ll get sent down so they can move Sowers/Laffey/Huff up later.

Oh, I know that. I’m just afraid they’ll call up the first member of that troika.

I didn’t read the article yet, what was he DL’d for? A bad case of suck?

Laffey pitched today, and Ohka took the mound for the second of 2 shortened games.

I believe that means Sowers is on his way to Cleveland.

Ya know, it could be Pedro Matinez too.

I don’t how I’d react to that.

Can he bring Bartolo Colon with him?

Laffey only threw 60 pitches. Not horribly effective, but only threw 60 pitches. I would think that could easily line him up for Wednesday, no?

by Fundamentals on Apr 12, 2009 11:35 AM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

True. But I don’t see why Ohka took Sowers’ start.

by mcrose on Apr 12, 2009 1:30 PM EDT up reply actions   0 recs

Could be Laffey or Sowers. I’d say could be Huff, but Vincredible Chulk and Little Giraffe have filled the 40-man.

Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

My guess is Sowers. I don’t think they want to do to the AAA/MLB shuffle with Laffey, but would rather see him log some success in Columbus before bringing him back up. Just a guess, though.
