Does this mean I have to drink like 93 more 40’s of PBR during the regular season?
So 2009.

Too bad we don’t have an 11-yearold with a webcam pointed at his TV that can upload the 9th to youtube
Ben Francisco: An Outfielder only on baseball cards and roster sheets.
Who?

Agreed. I liked Crowe’s swing when he finally got his hit, too. Don’t know if that can be done consistently, but looked quick and strong.
Il faut d'abord durer.
Yeah, that was surprising.

I am still trying not to get too excited about Pronk but it is becoming very difficult.
I never learned to read.
That’s exactly how I feel.
I was so not expecting three bombs in the first six games, I can’t quite even process it.
Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
And the first 2 games were not impressive. Over the last three, he’s hit .333/.467/1.167 with a double, 3 HR, 3 BB. That’s 4 XBH in 12 AB.
Hafner’s off to the third-best start of his career, after 2004 (1.260 OPS, 3 HR in 5 games) and 2006 (1.642 OPS and 4 HR).
Which what? If you mean speed, the gun’s measuring something close to the release speed. The result speed is the speed with which it crosses the plate.
yeah, so when Hazel Mae says he hit a 96 MPH fastball, she’s referring to the release speed – which is the common practice?
Can’t speak to common practice, but it was the speed the STO gun had.
Though I look right at home, I still feel like an exile

Possible or likely, of course, that it’s the same gun, implying they do measure release speed.

Wood made those Jays hitters look like Little Leaguers.
Oh, and PRONK!
