Heath Bell does not care for ESPN
Specifically, Baseball Tonight. For some reason, he seems to think they focus more on the big East Coast teams. Hm.
By the way, feel free to use my tag for all future Manny Ramirez/Jim Thome coming back to Cleveland threads.

"And I saw ESPN’s promo for tonight’s game. They mention the Mets are opening Citi Field, they mentioned the starting time, but nowhere did they mention the Padres. That gave me the (expletive)."
Am I the only one trying to figure out what it gave him?

A more vulgar term for the runs? Was Heath Bell on the toilet all day after he saw that.
I never learned to read.

Try and imagine it as a phrase of exclusively dirty language.

That doesn’t seem like a usage I’ve ever heard.

An odd choice of words, there Heath. He got diarrhea upon hearing/seeing this?

For some reason, it didn’t keep it. It was something along the lines of “things that pro athletes say that closely mirror your own opinions and make you happy that they share your point of view but ultimately have no bearing on reality”

I would join Heath if he started his own sports media conglomerate.

“Maybe the Heath Bell Sports Media Conglomerate Inc. isn’t such a good idea.”

I don’t blame the guy. He was one of the most dominant setup men for 2-3 years running and never got 10% of the run that Justin’s first 18 ML IP got. It borders on ridiculous when you think about it.

Heath Bell has had one really awesome year. Besides 2007, dude has been pretty mediocre. Not nearly as good as career as Betancourt.
I like the plug he makes for the bosses.
