Byrd ready to return to big leagues
I wonder where he will end up. I doubt the Indians will look seriously at signing him, but it should be interesting to see how this plays out.

i wonder if there was any fallout when the indians dealt him right as his book was coming out. anyone hear how it did in sales?
i would love to have him back in cleveland…
There is a significant lack of beards in this year's clubhouse...
I never bought one, but I picked up a copy to take a look. He was supposed to do a book signing the week after he got traded. This obviously got canceled, but on the inside of every book was a hand-written note saying something along the lines of, “To Cleveland, Thanks for all the memories! Paul Byrd.”

Imagine the HRs he would give up in the New Epicenter of the Baseball Universe.

Maybe if Reyes or Pavano’s arm explodes in the next week. But do you really think the Indians will shell out millions of dollars for a #5 starter, when we still have Sowers, Lewis, Westbrook and Rondon all on call?
