I wonder where he will end up. I doubt the Indians will look seriously at signing him, but it should be interesting to see how this plays out.

I think Byrd will find that the line formers over in the corner behind Omar. Next to the stale bagels and moldy cream cheese.

I never bought one, but I picked up a copy to take a look. He was supposed to do a book signing the week after he got traded. This obviously got canceled, but on the inside of every book was a hand-written note saying something along the lines of, “To Cleveland, Thanks for all the memories! Paul Byrd.”

Dealing him as the book was coming out would have to be seen as a plus for book sales, because it puts his name more in the news.

Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

Imagine the HRs he would give up in the New Epicenter of the Baseball Universe.

Something about this makes me afraid that Byrd has not seen his last days in Cleveland

Maybe if Reyes or Pavano’s arm explodes in the next week. But do you really think the Indians will shell out millions of dollars for a #5 starter, when we still have Sowers, Lewis, Westbrook and Rondon all on call?

No. Possibly he could return as a reliever, but not as a starter for us. At least, not until we have 2-3 more injuries.

Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
