I really did fool myself into thinking I could cram some productivity in between 1:30 and 2.
Though I look right at home, I still feel like an exile

Oh, somewhere in this favored land the sun is shining bright,
The band is playing somewhere, and somewhere hearts are light,
And somewhere men are laughing, and little children shout;
But I’d rather be at Let’s Go Tribe, and posting till we’re out.

Not me. The long spring training has left me bitter and indifferent.
Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

So that’s why you’re not drunk.
Be honest, do I overuse the italics?

I didn’t even call skip work today. Then again, apparently everyone else did …
So 2009.

I think everyone else underuses them

I got an error when trying to open up the Tribe game. “Video will be available soon” or whatever. Mets v. Reds game works perfectly though.
by DisplacedBuckeye on Apr 6, 2009 1:51 PM EDT up reply actions
Today’s Games link in Mets game says “No games today”. Jesus Christ MLB you got 10 minutes to get it together!
My side-bar just changed to “Warm-Up” for our game. So, it looks like there may be activity.

Over in the pregame thread, when I praised Santana, he promptly gave up 2 walks, so let me say that Millwood is pretty good, and never gives up leadoff home runs to left-handed center fielders.
Happy Opening Day

Not even that first-pitch guy can damper my enthusiasm!
No, not you. Your helmet!

I’m at home right now, but in 45 minutes I gotta leave for work, which has a internet system so secure that nobody can get out on it. Hafta join you guys late – real late like midnight back at the Mother Ship.
Resident LGT results-oriented boob.
EI has the UnderManning feed!
Though I look right at home, I still feel like an exile

I actually like Lewin and Grieve. But I appreciate the Indians-centric broadcast.

Off to a local watering hole to watch some of this game. Not taking the laptop, so I’ll check you guys later.
'Z' button abuser.
I DONT SEE IT ANY MLB.TV FOLKS WORKING>?

So 2009.
by Gradyforpresident on Apr 6, 2009 2:04 PM EDT up reply actions
but they are screwing around and mixing weird audio and video feeds…?
by cleveland teamer on Apr 6, 2009 2:04 PM EDT up reply actions
So, now I’ve gone to the EI feed.
This is crap. You people trying to convince me this is better than mlbtv are nuts.
Do I go with ESPN2 in HD and suffer ESPN’s broadcast or Underwood/Manning in terrible box-shaped low D?
Since ESPN wasn’t planning on carrying it, I’m wondering if we won’t just get some other feed instead.
How many posts if Grady hits a bomb?
Travis Hafner is overrated. Clarity is underrated. David Dellucci is David Dellucci.
Not with this 0-2 count.
No, not you. Your helmet!

I think in one of them he did.

All the graphics, all the crowd noise, all the silly music when they give lineups, but… no Underpants.
Heaven!
Seriously though, this is sort of eerie. Feel like I’m actually at the game or something.
I think Millwood will bounce back to have an area under 4.5

I always thought Millwood was a square

they say TX hasnt won an opening game in the last 5 seasons. I like.

I am not excited to dish out another $10, but I think you’re right

He swung at three or four balls in that at bat. Questionable process, but that’s the nature of the game for a guy who has no problem putting the bat on the ball.
OMG
I DIDN’T KNOW THIS WOULD BE ON ESPN 2. I SHOULD BE HOME NOW.
I'm *always* in the driver's seat, cugino -- Chuck
I have zero idea if this works since I don’t have the bandwidth to try, but these guys claim they have the game:
http://971thefan.com/live/content/index.html
I’m listening to their over-the-air feed.
They’re currently talking football on that station
by cleveland teamer on Apr 6, 2009 2:29 PM EDT up reply actions
No, thanks for the idea – just wanted to let everybody know

I gave up on reading that Saltam…. guy’s name a quarter of the way through it.

So 2009.

Underpants: “Drugs and alcohol, that kind of thing…”
No, pretty much it was just drugs and alcohol. No other similar “things.”
SPRING TRAINING IS WORTHLESS!
Travis Hafner is overrated. Clarity is underrated. David Dellucci is David Dellucci.
