Can we swear in game threads anymore? I don’t remember if there was a policy shift after LGT got BIGTIME.
I think we should adopt the WBC mercy rule for swearing. Which means, go for it.

4 K’s for Jackson. Is it the hitters, the pitchers or the umpire?

could you imagine if he did all his games in Arlington? His excitement over flyballs would drive everyone mad.

I have to say though, I’m impressed by the Rangers. It sucks they’re doing it against the Tribe, but this team could make some noise this year.
Why are these people flapping their wings. And I know why but still.
So 2009.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen a pitcher work on the outside of the plate to hitters as well as Jackson has so far. I’m worried this umpire is giving him a lot of latitude.
not sure. I always get that the two confused – stalagmites and stalactites too.

That is not a great way to look at it; it’s an idiotic way of looking at it. In his best defensive seasons, Vizquel saved at most 20 runs with the glove.
Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
The broadcasters here in Philly used to say that about Rico Brogna all the time — and he played 1B.

Alright, I think it may be time for me to turn this crap off. It worked yesterday with the Phillies, so if the Indians come back I’m taking at least half of the credit.
I don’t have a video feed, but I’m assuming he throws underarm now, correct?

I’m just going by what Hammy said- that he gave up pitching sidearm last year and then moved to the rotation.

Now I get it. All this was done so Wood could get the win in his first appearance in his home town ballpark.

I’m just tired of looking forward to the future. Bob Feller’s got it right. We’ve been looking forward to the future since 2002.
I'm *always* in the driver's seat, cugino -- Chuck
Historically? No. But this isn’t a complicated economic plan or something. I know this is just me being upset about the past three games, but it seems like every year we keep building and building and there’s always hope for next year with very little attention paid to this year. It’s frustrating.
I'm *always* in the driver's seat, cugino -- Chuck
Of course that’s not true. There’s really a lot of attention paid to this year, by us fans, and little paid to the future. When the present is sucking so bad, I chose to look at the little future sliver, that’s all.
I’m just mad we have to wait another 27 odd hours until the next game
