I don’t think I’ve ever seen a pitcher work on the outside of the plate to hitters as well as Jackson has so far. I’m worried this umpire is giving him a lot of latitude.

Historically? No. But this isn’t a complicated economic plan or something. I know this is just me being upset about the past three games, but it seems like every year we keep building and building and there’s always hope for next year with very little attention paid to this year. It’s frustrating.

Of course that’s not true. There’s really a lot of attention paid to this year, by us fans, and little paid to the future. When the present is sucking so bad, I chose to look at the little future sliver, that’s all.
