When the Tribe was in SF, my friends and I went, they being Giants fans, and I an Indians one (obviously). My buddy’s season tickets are literally about a foot and a half away from the away team on deck circle, amazing seats. Boone was on deck, and he was batting .180 at the time, and my buddy yelled something like “YOU RIDE THE i80 IN TOWN?” which comes through SF. Boone looked legitimately hurt. Julio Lugo also told us to blank ourselves.

I don’t watch any of the game, and tune in to find out that (at the time) Pavano had given up 3 hits and Dellucci had three hits of his own. What is this bizarro world into which I have fallen?

Eric Wedge couldn’t manage a fucking fruit stand. Perez instead of Sipp? He brings in Jensen Lewis, he of the infinite home run rate to face Magglio and Cabrera. What the hell is Joe Smith doing on the roster if you don’t use him to face tough right handed hitters?

I left for twenty minutes or so, came back and heard Hammy mention something about the Tigers’ arms in the pen to get to closer Fernando Rodney. My heart stopped for a second.
This is still pretty bad though. What the heck, Jensen.
