The World's Best Illusion: The Secret of the Curve Ball
The three best visual illusions in the world were chosen at a gathering last weekend of neuroscientists and psychologists at the Naples Philharmonic Center for the Arts in Florida.
The first illustrates how a curve ball may be harder to hit than it really is as it moves through the field of vision.

Has anyone noticed the last illusion on that page is called Shapiro’s Trophy (a sculpture that changes shape depending on the angle from which it’s viewed). Does this mean the Indians are actually good if we view them from another angle? Has anyone found it?

That’s cool. Given the right combination of fixation point and background luminance, I see them just twinkling in place.
