It Can't Get Any Worse
We officially have the worst pitching staff in Major League Baseball. The team ERA is now above 6.0.
What's amazing is that the NYY spent a lot more money and are challenging us for the title.

The biggest surprise is the Pirates. #4 at 3.85. Also not the the Yanks have allowed the same # of runs as the Tribe but 14 of theirs were unearned vs. only 6 of our (I would have expected more given our cruddy fielding)

True, our performance and competitive level could get worse. However, in this particular instance, I am using the totally ambiguous “It” to refer to our ERA ranking amongst MLB teams. As we are ranked 30th, our ranking can not possibly get any worse. I used "It" because people are curious what "It" is.
