Sizemore says he feels good, hopes he doesn't need surgery
Indians center fielder Grady Sizemore said today that his left elbow felt good during a workout today at Progressive Field and he's hopeful that it will not require surgery.
Sizemore, who has been on the disabled list since May 31 because of inflammation in the elbow, had a MRI exam and a physician's exam earlier today.
"I was cleared to go throw and take swings today, so I guess it went well," Sizemore said of the exams.

Rehab?
regardless of the results of the MRI, will he need to stop by Columbus for a couple games for a rehab assignment?

It’s only been two weeks, so I don’t think he’d go on a rehab assignment.

But he’s kinda sucked all year. Maybe rehab would be a good idea?

Should be interesting to see what Soloff has to say this afternoon. I would hope they’re doing more for it than just resting him. He’s probably getting regular cortizone shots, I would guess.

I read that title backwards . . .
I thought it said Sizemore doesn’t feel good, will need surgery. I’m glad thats not what it says.

Wedge in today’s PD: “There’s a little something there, but it was a lot better than the last one he took.”

I think Wedge is dropping a hint. There’s a little something there, he says, as if to gird you for the inevitable. Just a minor concern, says Wedge, probably nothing at all. This translate into Indians speak for, we’ve already booked Grady a room in Birmingham, Alabama.

I am wondering if there is some sort of resort attached to the Dr. James Andrews clinic. Someone entrepreneurial could make a killing by opening a resort attached to his practice
