6 Cubs Bleachers - Friday 1:20pm
Chicago Tribers -
I have 6 bleachers for Friday afternoon game (6/19) against the Cubs at Wrigley Field. Start time is 1:20pm. I figured I would post here first before Craigslist if anyone wants them. Face value is $50 - can meet anytime to drop off tickets. Happy to split the total if you want only a couple.

ps. If you're not supposed to pimp tickets through FanShots, sorry - I looked for some other forum and didn't see anything.

I’m going to be at this game with the girlfriend. We’ll prolly hit up Murphys before hand. Does anyone know if you can leave the stadium once you scan you ticket – or are you stuck for good? ’Cause I, of course, want to watch BP, but I also want to drink BL.
I had this exact argument with a Cubs ticket usher, with no success. Wouldn’t let anybody out and back in. But that was 10 years ago.
I’m not sure any stadiums allow this. Progressive Field definitely doesn’t; they announce the fact before every game.
I’d guess it’s to ensure that you’re not entering the game, handing your ticket to someone through the gate, and letting them in. Or something like that. There’s also the issue of tickets printed off the computer. What’s to stop someone from printing two copies? “One scan only” takes care of both issues. I’m not saying it doesn’t have it’s drawbacks, but I see the point.

i hear though, if you get your hand stamped at cedar point, it works to get you back in the game. it’s the only way around it.

Safeco allows re-entry through a single gate. They do it because the smoking ban is in effect in the stadium and they want to allow people to step outside for a smoke.

Otherwise you could go out and smoke crack in the alley and then come back.
I bet the ostensible reason is to control alcohol consumption. People in the park cannot leave and have 25 beers and come back loaded. This presumes that the beer vendors keep an eye on their overserved customers. The real reason is to maximize beer revenues for Tribune Co.
