It looks like moles are mating with his face. That’s atrocious.

There are two kinds of people in this world. Those that find a bad beard awful, and those that wear bad beards.
I myself am of the latter variety. And I think that the psychological reasoning is similar to why punks wear green mohawks: “I can’t look like that? Oh yes I can.”
It’s not the rebellion thing, it’s that he looks like a complete tool. It’s not funny cool, it’s not normal cool, it’s not anti-establishment cool, it’s just awful.

Yeah, you’re not part of the latter. When you can do these things, you usually find it very fun.

The thing is, I can. I could grow a beard that would eat other, lesser, more “cool” beards. I just choose not to because I hate the look of small mammals humping my face.

Speaking of which, how’s Sam? His beard coming in yet?

Dude, your beard is wicked strong. Have you found that it’s gotten less notice as you’ve aged or is it a relatively new development for you?
I don’t know. It’s always been solid, since I was 20 or even younger. I’ve had it continuously for 12 years now.
Facial hair definitely doesn’t get noticed at a recording studio.
Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
But, certainly, there have been occasions where you’ve needed to class it up a bit… I’m only asking because I’m considering a lifetime commitment to my beard.

A good beard-trimmer is gold. Your barber or stylist probably will also do a great job if you ask.
Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
I cut my own hair. It may be time to make a significant beard-related investment.
Incidentally, I think I could pull of what Tallet is doing. Now THAT’s unprofessional.

The “shaving a stark line from the jawline and below” thing is really annoying and I wish that wasn’t the current trend for those who feel they need to look work-appropriate. I happen to like my beard when it looks like I crashed a helicopter in a remote part of Oregon about two weeks ago. That’s usually how long I let it go before I feel compelled to start all over.

I’m not allowed to say anything about (beards), but if I was, I’d say this was awesome.

Its an inverted Boston Red Sox Redneck goatee. If baseball ability were not an issue, would you rather have that guy or Kevin Youkilis on your team?
