Yeah, I was already worried about his walk rate (the last thing we need is another bullpen arm with control problems), but the drop in velocity and the possible attribution to injury compounds this. Shapiro must know this stuff and still thinks he’s got a high ceiling. Right?!

It will be interesting to see how much he is used for the Indians this season. I am hoping they keep his innings low, but put him in a role that gets him comfortable for high leverage situations. I agree his delivery is one that should cause some concern for an injury, having seen him up close in person a few times.
