Westbrook tosses three scoreless innings for Aeros
In his first rehab start since undergoing the dreaded TJ surgery, Jake Westbrook started for Akron on Saturday, giving up a single and a walk while striking out one in three innings (39 pitches). Five of the outs were on the ground. He'll pitch four innings next time out. Also, Joe Smith has done all he can in AAA. In five rehab appearances, he's gone 5 IP, giving up four hits, 0 R, 1 BB and striking out 6.
