Little did I know that the Chisenhall bit would be only the second-most significant Lastoria post of the day ... Gregorio Rosario is alive!

Still waiting for that PTBN from Huntington for Shawn Nottingham.
Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
Yeah, but you have to send me a link to the post you’re talking about.
Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
No, I was asking you about the post in which you responded about formatting. something like how to post a series of numbers in a simple format
Joe Q .346 .434. .522 7 18 79
Davy Jones .234 .302 .414 3 20 100
Something to align that data so its readable.
Ah, that’s the “pre” tag. You put it at the start and the end of the whole section — start with
, end with
— and it casts the text in between in a monotype format, where every character has the same width, just like a typewriter or a VT terminal session. That makes it easier to predict spacing and line things up consistently, and with some judicious use of the Preview button, you can nudge stuff into place.
Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
Not lives, exactly… he’s actually a vampire.

You know, when Rosario makes it to Lake County, he can sing, “Yo no soy un Marinero. Soy Capitán. Soy Capitán!”

respect
I refuse to ever root for a team that routinely does the MVP chant for opposing players.

I don’t comment often but. This.
I grew up listening to this song and feeling some vague connection because it was in Spanish, so maybe that’s why it resonates with me more.
Kudos on making the connection.

In case you don’t realize, this isn’t really about the prospect so much as our collective determination to “win” the Jason Davis trade, which was the source of some animosity between our brethren over at Lookout Landing and us folk here at LGT. Ordinarily I have little patience for “who won the trade” discussions, but this one is just kind of funny.

I just want MatthewLL to lay awake in 2013 thinking about how Bavasi screwed him over one last time.

I don’t think it’s the same Matt, but I’m not sure. I believe this was bannedini’s last stand, and the first use of “Also!” and the delightful though not as popular “ENTIRELY INCORRECT!”
Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.
I’ve been fond of “You are missing my point!” in actual conversation ever since. “ENTIRELY INCORRECT!” is hard to pull off with a straight face, and it’s such a lob wedge — you’ve got to wail on the thing to get any distance out of it.
There’s so much else going on, though. Chuck looking up stats. Erik writing multiple-paragraph comments. People going crazy because there were 60+ comments in a post. Early edition E5. Adam already caring about Hector and Jeanmar. And, as a night-cap, Joe flying in with a last-minute Matt Anderson update.

I can’t post from work lately for some reason, and it’s not just because I don’t have time. I usually log in over lunch and if I try to post, it bounces the message. Totally sucks too. It’s sad what’s become of my presence around here. Only the guys that have been around a long time remember that I used to actually contribute to the discourse. Anyone new probably just thinks I’m a joke sniper.

This.
I’m going to start saying “this” in conversation soon and further stunt my communication ability.
I say it in my head and then catch myself before saying it aloud. It’s only a matter of time before it slips out though.

One in particular punctuates it with an Elaine Benes-style shove.

So you’re taunting us because we got a low prospect for somebody that had nobody offered us anything, we would have paid to sit at home?
This sounds like a trade involving pretzels and a certain bobblehead made on this very site.
