This happened to me a few days ago. I got adblocker, downloaded Firefox and it’s adblocker and Firefox worked. Now Safari’s working again so it should only last a day. But for now apparently adblocker is your best bet.

Kind of stunned we haven’t had any real trade rumors, at least since 4th of July weekend… I mean nothing other than the useless “Should the Indians consider dealing Victor Martinez/Cliff Lee stuff?”
Peralta, Garko, Shoppach, Pavano, Betancourt… not a lick.
by cheech99 on Jul 18, 2009 7:15 PM EDT reply actions 0 recs
Guys like Betancourt, Pavano and Garko aren’t going to garner huge rumors. If they’re dealt, rumors will come up only right before the trade. Guys like Victor and Lee go along the CC route of having rumors for a month prior.

Clippers manager said Wes Hodges will be back at third base by the end of the home stand (been DH since coming off the DL). This would mean something needs to be done with Marte.

I’ve told my stories here before, so I won’t bore people again, but the time I’ve spent in the Indians dressing room were some of the most dull moments I’ve had. I really have no desire to go back…unless we win the WS, in which case I want some champagne.
by supermarioelia on Jul 18, 2009 7:42 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
I think from the stories I’ve read the dressing room is anything but dull for girls especially in baseball for some reason.

The only cool part was not paying to get in for basically any sporting event I wanted to go to. The access to the dressing rooms and press box got old really quick.
by supermarioelia on Jul 18, 2009 7:51 PM EDT up reply actions 0 recs
Yeah I’m really not looking forward to that part but sports is kind of all I think about so I figure I should get paid for it.

Ohka is pitching a 4-hitter. Unfortunately, he is going up against a pitcher who is having a career year and the Indians offense is in the middle of another funk.

Something just occured to me about that runner speed tracking thing while watching the tying Rays run score. How is it going to take into account a guy slowing down once he knows he’s going to score easily and without a throw?
