Did anyone really think he would play when Vic was at 1B?

He could play 3B or DH.

Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

by westbrook on Jul 29, 2009 4:40 PM EDT up reply actions

It’s smart to do that if you care about your score though. The more you take it the better you get. The first time I took I had the worst science section ever and got like a 16 on that section. I got in the 30’s on everything else. Obviously I should have taken it again since the 16 score was an outlier that definitely skewed my score.

That’s all you need to know. More seriously I dont think most of us have had enough time to go through enough information to make an honest assessment. But we generally are disappointed in the trade. It features a lot of prospects that scouts are split on. And no blue chippers. But they all seem to be decent B level prospects.

Knapp- 18 y/0 who already touches 98. Currently a starter
Marson- Catcher with no power but great OBP.
Donald- SS. Might move to second. Put up good offensive numbers before this year in AA
Carrasco- #2 prospect in Phillies system before year began. (#1 to Sickles) Can touch 97 but gives up a lot of hits and too many walks. #2 ceiling

Also!
Two more points

1. Knapp was shut down with shoulder stiffness. No word on how serious it is. Though I expect it not to be too bad.

2. They’re all in AAA except for Knapp who is in A. This is important too..

Carrasco 22 y/o
Knapp 18 y/o
Donald 24 y/o
Marson 23 y/o

But I believe a few of them just had birthdays. And Knapp is about to turn 19.
