A Facebook quiz just told me I was 100% Pretty. So I’ve got that going for me, which is nice.
Who needs affection when you can have blind hatred?
I took a “Which Top Gear character are you?” quiz, and I didn’t agree with the results, so I stopped doing those things.
Shin-Soo Choo, future U.S. Citizen.
I only took the ACT, though I didn’t have a problem with mine, I was glad I didn’t have to take the SAT.
Shin-Soo Choo, future U.S. Citizen.
I did slightly better on the SAT so I’m glad I took it.
Who needs affection when you can have blind hatred?
I just didn’t want to have to take another test. My 29 worked just fine.
Shin-Soo Choo, future U.S. Citizen.
Haha, I did it as a sophomore too. I stopped caring after that cuz I knew that was gonna get me in anywhere that I cared to go. Though, I should have cared because just slightly higher and I would have been able to pull a full ride.
Shin-Soo Choo, future U.S. Citizen.
Well it depends where you go, where I went, Ohio U (Harvard on the Hocking in nickname only), I believe a 30 started the full ride. But I went there for their very good broadcast/journalism/film program, so it wasn’t without warrant. It was either there or NYU or the west coast, and I didn’t wanna do either of those.
Shin-Soo Choo, future U.S. Citizen.
Ah, I went to Miami (only for a year, as I hated it there). I do think I actually got a decent-ish scholarship, now that I think about it.
*sigh*
I went to an art school and they didn’t care what I tested at, they just said “Draw that sweaty naked dude and then we’ll talk about money.”
I’m somewhat in this boat. 28 with no prep and knowing I didn’t need to really kick ass.
[deleted, profanity]
I never prepped, because it did nothing but make me nervous and panic, I never actually learned anything from it. The best advice I can give is to take the test at least twice, I took it first in 8th grade, then I knew what was going on with it.
Shin-Soo Choo, future U.S. Citizen.
I took the prelim one 1-2 years before the real one. I hate when people get all braggy about their score and then say they took it like 3 tiems.
[deleted, profanity]
It’s smart to do that if you care about your score though. The more you take it the better you get. The first time I took I had the worst science section ever and got like a 16 on that section. I got in the 30’s on everything else. Obviously I should have taken it again since the 16 score was an outlier that definitely skewed my score.

This will be the first off-season in a long time where I didn’t expect the Indians to be a winning team. I wonder if I still will have that anticipation I get in late January for baseball to begin.
I think once you give in & just get excited to watch some of the young guys develop, it’s ok. When you have high expectations & they suck (a la this year), that’s when it’s really depressing.

i really don’t care for them, for really no rational reason. i tend to get excited about the marlins, and i remain partially loyal to the mets, as i’m a new yorker, and being a mets fan pisses off yankees fans.
The Marlins can go jump in a lake. The Mets are just the Yankees lite. I despise the braves, and you would too if you lived in the south.

The Tribe has looked out of it all game. This is what happens when you demoralize them (for the next season, too).
-Kyle
They’re going to be demoralized for another 250+ games? Bunch of pansies. Or maybe you’re overreacting.
No, but I’m sure guys like Grady and Victor are wondering what the heck is happening in their organization and, as such, are probably a bit distracted today.
I’ll go with the other option: You’re being snarky for no reason.

FredOx, I apologize: THIS is being snarky for no reason.
Kudos, Jay, that’s two days in a row now. You should get some kind of award.

Bring the outfielders in. Let’s play with 7 infielders all huddled 2 feet away from the batter. I’m sure it’ll intimidate the batters.

GO!
FTW
That’s all you need to know. More seriously I dont think most of us have had enough time to go through enough information to make an honest assessment. But we generally are disappointed in the trade. It features a lot of prospects that scouts are split on. And no blue chippers. But they all seem to be decent B level prospects.
Knapp- 18 y/0 who already touches 98. Currently a starter
Marson- Catcher with no power but great OBP.
Donald- SS. Might move to second. Put up good offensive numbers before this year in AA
Carrasco- #2 prospect in Phillies system before year began. (#1 to Sickles) Can touch 97 but gives up a lot of hits and too many walks. #2 ceiling

Also!
Two more points
1. Knapp was shut down with shoulder stiffness. No word on how serious it is. Though I expect it not to be too bad.
2. They’re all in AAA except for Knapp who is in A. This is important too..
Carrasco 22 y/o
Knapp 18 y/o
Donald 24 y/o
Marson 23 y/o
But I believe a few of them just had birthdays. And Knapp is about to turn 19.
