The Dodgers have traded for the round mound of the infield, Ronnie Belliard, as they continue to collect ex-Indians.

Good point – one fewer team to potentially trade for Sweet Baboo as uber-utility Ninja Assassin.
I want it. I've been grinding it out for awhile.

Correct me if I am wrong, but today would be the last day Carroll can be moved and be eligible for a team’s postseason roster, right?
Yes, that is correct.

Actually, if I had a do-over, it would probably be the Round Mound of Short Right.

I bet he is amazed as well. He seems to so well fit the mold of a guy that teams love to have down the stretch or in the playoffs. I’m confused.
A team wants Belliard, but not Carroll? I really don’t get that. The only solution I can garner is that the Indians want Carroll back next year and don’t want to trade him away and have him take it as a “Get out of here move”. Although I’m sure he would understand. And I was under the impression Jason Donald was set to be Carroll next year.
I never got to Boo him goodbye.

It seems to me there’s a lot of ex-Indians floating around out there.
I suppose that’s true of every team, but we just notice it more.

That is true for every team. It is unusual, though, for one team to have three former members of this significance on their team … three guys who were starters for six seasons or more on another team.
