okay, i’ve got two i can tell here. do you want the one with just some douchey behavior, or the one with the guy who probably should be hospitalized?
Second date with a guy I was only kind of into, but was kind of bored and whatever, he was moderately cute. I knew he had some issues with mental illness, but this is not necessarily a dealbreaker as long as they’re not violent and are in the process of getting help, you know?
My judgment of “not violent” was very very wrong. Spent the entire drive back from Toledo being regaled with his fantasy of trapping someone in his house and slowly stabbing them to death.
He was in all of my classes that quarter. It was immensely unsettling.
Well, the other one is kind of funny in retrospect. First guy I dated in college (let’s call him E) had always had this issue where he and his BFF (let’s call him F) tended to be both attracted to and attractive to the same women. There was this whole list of one of them dating a girl then her leaving him for the other. I’m honestly not entirely sure why they were still friends, because the whole thing was kind of neurotic.
anyway, I got conned into this big LARP thing they did because they needed one more person, and E’s character “died” and I had reason to have to hang out F’s character, blah blah. F and I had actually discussed a mutual attraction earlier, and both said we respected E too much to act on it in any way and were totally platonic.
I had to leave early from the LARP, and when he got back E calls me up all “You are not INVESTED in this relationship” and “YOU ARE A HORRIBLE CHEATER” blah blah and dumped me. I was incredibly distraught because I had not done anything.
Six months later I found out he’d cheated on me after I left the LARP site.
On the plus side, he and F aren’t friends anymore.
what’s LARP?

Live Action Role Playing. It’s a deeply nerdy hobby in which you pretend to be a knight and hit people with nerf weapons or something. It wasn’t very fun.
I just spit up my water.

No longer think you have a douchebag problem.
Now think you have a serious loser problem.
Well, that's just, like, your opinion, man.

It doesn’t go for everyone you hang out with though, right? Like people on internet message boards? sob
By the way, I think most of us would agree that you can do much better.

The latest guy was just a scrub. Before that, I hadn’t dated anyone in two years because to be honest, it’s not really worth the effort most of the time.
Internet dating? Might as well. I actually know a few married couples that met online.

Well and the guy. He needs help. I feel very sorry for him if he isn’t better now.
Who needs affection when you can have blind hatred?
I’ve dated two guys who were bipolar, and there were issues, but not so much that that was what caused the break-up. This guy was something else.
Well bipolar can be controlled and improved with medication and everything. it’s still sad though.
I have a legitimate fear of schizophrenia. I have nightmares about schizophrenia.
Who needs affection when you can have blind hatred?
Yeah. I have a friend who’s schizophrenic and they caught it pretty early and she manages it okay with medication, which is good. but stabby-dude’s schizophrenia went pretty far before they caught it, and it’s one of those things where once you lose it, you can’t really get it back.
I think sometimes it doesn’t matter about the timing. It’s different for every person.
Who needs affection when you can have blind hatred?
Oh yeah. Schizophrenia isn’t always the same, and is probably a bunch of different syndromes lumped under one name. But I understand the earlier it’s caught the better it can be managed.
How do you know its a dream?

I have a joke that only Clemson would get, but screw it. I might stop by a buddy’s place to catch some of it.
I have been in training for days. Like 8-6 everyday. My brain is not functioning. I have put my car key in my room door for example. What I’m saying is, I don’t get it.
Who needs affection when you can have blind hatred?
Did you look up how to make the pain go away? I should have thought of that. Why do I never consider google?
Damn. Baking soda and vinegar is mentioned, but I don’t have any baking soda! I don’t bake, dammit! I’m no June Cleaver!
I have a cake mix in the cupboard. Is there any baking soda in cake mix? Then I’ll have yellowjacket stings and ants.
Hmm. Even after Tyler’s ranting yesterday, I’m not as turned away by this picture as I would be if he was in a White Sox uniform.

Alright, I have an hour and a half before I head out for the night. Do I spend it watching this team lose, or watching a disc of Always Sunny in Philadelphia? Odds are that won’t disappoint me like Ohka does.
I was just looking through my school books and I got really excited for my classes this year. I am such a nerd.
Who needs affection when you can have blind hatred?
Persuasion (Communications, that’s at 8, it makes me less excited about that one), 20th and 21st century literature. Thise are the two I’m most excited about, and Choir.
I’m also taking Stats :P, and Family, School, and Community.

Yes they do. And I might. I knwo someone on the team. She was in Public Speaking with me.

The coach, if she’s still the coach, is alumni of my school. I’m serious, you should join. Especially if you’re really interested in communications. I’d bet you’ll learn more in forensics than you will in school. Forensics is just that good.

You probably shouldn’t be. We lost it because of Ohka, a guy who has no future with this team. Masterson and Todd looked good.
THis. I just can’t be mad. I’ll take what Masterson did as a great thing, and completely overlook Ohka

I mean….we are trying to win games, evaluate our pertinent roster issues, or both. How does Gimenez batting 6th fit into either of those?
I got my rage out around 705pm. Since then I’ve just been numb.

I’ve had it with Wedge. Woke up late here in Tokyo, and I see Gimenez (Gimenez!) instead of Marte in the lineup. Again. Unless Andy is in the hospital, he’s in the lineup every day. That’s it. Management needs to lay it on Wedge, now. This is just stupid. Wedge is simply incapable of making good decisions with his personnel.
