LGT Fantasy Football

We've had an LGT Fantasy Football league through ESPN the past two years and I'm wondering if we're going to continue that this year. I don't remember who was running the league and I know some of the members aren't around here any more, but I'd like to play again this year. We set it up two years ago as a keeper league but last year I'm not sure if everyone participated. If whoever was the commish of this league is around then post here and let us know if we're playing again.

If that league is defunct then I wouldn't mind starting another league if people here want to play (and are willing to keep up with it). I'm willing to set it up and hopefully get a draft time in the next week where most people can participate. I would probably use Yahoo because I like their format better (and they have free live scoring this year). So please post here if you were a member of the old league and want to continue that or would be interested in joining a new league.

I was part of the former ESPN league, I don’t remember who the commish was. Although I would often forget about the league, mainly because it was on ESPN and all my other fantasy stuff is on Yahoo.

I’d be part of a new league, or a revitalized old league, especially if it is moved to Yahoo.

I’ll play since the other league I was in had their draft (I forgot) and now I have to start Matt Schaub (fingers crossed) as my QB all season long.

Personal issues made my participation in the LGT fantasy baseball league(s) a disaster, but things are better now, and I’d be interested. As long as I don’t get Matt Schaub.

Trust me – I’m sure you won’t be any worse than I am. Baseball is an obsession for me, football I enjoy for the heck of it.

It looks like we have plenty of interested people so I set up a league on Yahoo. I count 8 people above (including ClemsonGirl, who’s more than welcome to play) and with me that’s 9. I set up the league for 12 people but I can make it 14 or 16 if I get more interested. Those of you who responded above that you want to play please email me at buckeyebrad79@yahoo.com and I’ll send you the info (please include your LGT name so I know who you are).

I set up the draft for Monday night at 9:30 ET which I hope will be good for most people. I can move it if too many people can’t make that time but since we’re close to the start of the season our option are limited. We can also do Sunday night if that’s better but it would have to be later (after 10 or 11) but since Monday is a holiday that might be good for most people. So please respond soon if Monday night is not good and I’ll try to change it.

I’d like to make it a keeper league and continue this annually if others want to do that also. I’ll promise to keep up with it next year and remind everyone it so we don’t have this problem again. Let me know if anyone has problems or suggestions for the league.

We need more players!! There are still a few more openings for teams so if you’d like to play send me an email. I’d like to have at least 12 teams, and as I mentioned above I’ll try to keep this going on an annual basis. Our draft is scheduled for Monday night so please get in touch with me soon.
