Really hope Chisenhall and Mills show somethin’ good at ST.
Oh, and just because I extremely excited about it and felt the need to share with people—just found out that my wife is 12 weeks pregnant with our first child. Future Tribe Fan in waiting. LGT!

Personally, I’m looking forward to seeing White, Pino and Chisenhall with Pino being the most ‘unknown’ of the three. Not that I’m going to see any of them – but I’m sure the PD will have a fluff piece or two at some point. That and cold hard stats.
I really need to convince the wife to let me get the MLB.tv package this year.
I just wanted to believe.
Couldn’t agree more about MLB.TV…afraid my wife is going to stick me with just the MLB radio package again though.

Hmmm only 7 internal invites … that seems a bit low considering the mass of #4/5 starters we have. We shall see ….
These invites are for guys not on the 40-man only. The entire 40-man roster is invited to big-league camp, because that’s the big-league roster.
So White is the courtesy #1 draft pick invite. Chisenhall is the former #1, future possible star (but not this year) invite. Espino and Romero are extra role players for big league camp, and potential emergency fill-ins if the world (and the season) collapse. Mills is an interesting invite. To some extent he is also a former #1 courtesy invite, but he had something of an opposite 2009 as Chisenhall. I too would like to see him have a very strong start to the year, beginning in spring training. Yohan and Herrmann are the interesting ones, I think. Herrmann didn’t warrant a 40-man spot, but given his ability to throw strikes could be part of the bullpen in 2010. I bet the major league staff wants to get a closer look at Pino and see what he has to offer. I suppose best case scenario is that we get something productive out of either Pino or Talbot.
