asdrubal on the right obviously. and that has to be dellucci on the left, right? can’t tell who’s in the middle.

by Brick. on Feb 21, 2010 9:31 AM EST reply actions

Very funny. I think that might be Toregas on the left.

by dgcambridge on Feb 21, 2010 10:02 AM EST up reply actions

Valbuena, probably.

by fleerdon on Feb 21, 2010 10:26 AM EST up reply actions

Shapiro’s too cheap to bring back Dellucci.

Peralta at Asdrubal’s side?

by macasson on Feb 21, 2010 11:43 AM EST reply actions

I think this two-thirds is correct.

Two-thirds of Peralta at Asdrubal’s side?

Thin Third Baseman.

Though I look right at home, I still feel like an exile

I should clarify – this is actually a picture from last season’s spring training, not the current one. I had it in my head that one of the guys was Damaso Espino, but I might be wrong.

by APV on Feb 21, 2010 11:52 AM EST reply actions

i really think that’s dellucci

by Brick. on Feb 21, 2010 1:03 PM EST up reply actions

You may want a man who’ll say things like that to you, but probably not when you’re sleeping.

by Jay on Feb 21, 2010 6:54 PM EST up reply actions

You know what? I think you’re both right.

This is the best I could find:

Matt Underwood, Tribe announcer, reported to camp with a broken middle finger on his left hand from a bowling mishap.

Yeah, like if Marte narrowly beat out Branyan in the 2010 Indians HR Derby, pitched by Masahide Kobayashi.

It’s not much, but just seeing the Castro blog in mid-season format made me smile.

In a perfect world, who would be Wedge’s first baseman? "The guy we have here is the best guy for the job," he said, "Ryan Garko."

Remember when Eddie Mujica used to dominate this time of year? I’m nostalgic.

Also, I’ll take this space to remind anyone who may be interested, the Indians 3B coach is on The Amazing Race which airs its second episode of the season later today.

by JRontherim on Feb 21, 2010 6:02 PM EST reply actions

He made a pretty goofy mistake last week. I’m worried about his abilities.

Droobs looks like he has a lot of fun.

by jhon on Feb 21, 2010 6:13 PM EST reply actions

Pitchers & Catchers is the essential cycle of rebirth. The fisher king has found his grail and Droobs’ pants are still a touch too high. It’s time.

I can’t find where I saw this now, but apparently the Indians have addressed one of the biggest complaints about the Goodyear complex by installing a sidewalk and a short chain-link fence along the walkway between the practice field and playing field so as to accomodate autographs

by APV on Feb 21, 2010 7:40 PM EST reply actions

Ha – turns out I got it from Hoynes. I guess I stand corrected:

More access: Autograph hunters will be happy with a move the Indians made this spring. A sidewalk has been built that allows fans to get closer to players as they make their way to and from the main diamond right outside the locker room. Fans and players will be separated by a 4-foot high chain link fence, which won’t interfer with autographs or pictures.
