Riggleman Regrets Kerry Wood's Rookie Workload
Chico Harlan, in today's Washington Post, reports that in 1998, rookie Kerry Wood made 26 starts for the Chicago Cubs. On nine occasons, manager Jim Riggleman left him in for more than 120 pitches.
