I just watched game 2 of the 2007 ALCS the other night! Mastny sure had it then.

No, not you. Your helmet!

I honestly don’t know how you guys can watch those old games over again. The bad guys always win in the end.

by dgcambridge on Mar 1, 2010 5:48 PM EST up reply actions

I only watch games 2-4 of the 2007 ALCS, of course. Somebody mentioned JD Drew’s grand slam in a thread the other day and it pained me mostly because I had deluded myself that the last game played in 2007 was Paul Byrd’s beauty of a game 4.

No, not you. Your helmet!

Who would have thunk that Mastny would be more valuable in that series than CC and Fausto?

by Ryan on Mar 1, 2010 6:06 PM EST up reply actions

By not pitching, Lee might have been more valuable in that series than CC and Fausto.

Makes me think of when I first found LGT and signed up. And Indonesian food.

I remember I checked on him last summer and he got absolutely torched in the Japanese league. He was either released or injured

Indonesian-born relievers are the new/old market inefficiency.
