I came away from that game with a hatred of the Yankees and was absolute in this belief: Yankees fans are subhuman. Everything they and the Yankees stand for was represented during that half-inning. Like the kids, they are spoiled and demanding and see things only from their self-indulgent point of view. Like the adults, they act out when they don't get their way.

in central park this weekend. saw a kid, maybe 7, go into full-on protest/temper-tantrum mode. we picked up the action as he stomped, emphatically, away from his mom to a corner against a wall, folded his arms, made a cartoon-like frown and proclaimed “I want my OWN oreos” repeatedly. “My OWN!” He only gave in after 10 minutes of back-and-forth when his mother finally allowed him to search her pockets to see she had not brought her wallet to the park and was out of money. why is this relevant? kid was wearing a yankee hat.

Might be funny if it weren’t coming from the fan of the Red Sox. One needs a micrometer (preferably one with a vernier scale) to determine the difference in evil between those franchises.

I have a white-hot hatred for the Red Sox, but I can’t agree with this. They’re in the AL East and have an enormous marketshare – should they just not spend to compete with the Yankees?
If the Red Sox fans would acknowledge this, it wouldn’t bother me. What bothers me is that Red Sox fans automatically assume that if you like X team, then you hate the Yankees. Granted this is usually true and I will cheer on almost any team that faces the Yankees. Then they assume you will want to cheer on their team when they play the Yankees because the Yankees are so evil for spending so much. No. I want the game to be canceled or forfeited by both teams. Especially in the play offs.
Red Sox fans try to compare their spending to teams like us, the Twins, the As and so on. Their tone is that woo is us.
The Red Sox management usually acknowledges that they are spending to chase the Yankees. They don’t pretend to approach spending like other teams. And that is why I can’t completely hate Red Sox management.
What you can’t tell from the picture is that this guy is in the bathroom stall at a Dropkick Murphy’s concert throwing up after downing two car bombs and then making out with his best friend’s sister

I believe he cops to being an Angels fan later in the article. But we only talking another micrometer or two down the scale.
I find this signature at least mildly amusing.
