Do MLB Fans Get What They Pay For?
I came across this article today, which I found interesting.
Of note is footnote 4: The Florida Marlins, Washington Nationals, Cleveland Indians, Colorado Rockies and Kansas City Royals did not respond to the survey. Information from their respective Web sites and 2009 team-supplied surveys were used to calculate 2010 numbers.

Its gotta suck to be a diehard Cubs fan. 100+ years of losing and what do they have to show for it? The second highest priced day at the park.

100+ years is only worse than 62 years if you’re Medicare eligible. And even then, that’s only an “all else equal” situation, which this isn’t. Give me regular contention and ultimate failure any day.

How many people on average go to their games? Seriously whenever I see highlights the whole outfield is empty except for maybe 4 people. How has this franchise not moved?

Didn’t they finally bribe enough Miami-Dade county commissioners to get a new stadium?
