Maybe you can answer this question. Who are they (whatever car company it is) trying to target with the ad that says “Have you ever driven a car with pure silver dust polished into the wood?” There are so many things wrong with that ad, and by extension, our society. The commercial dumbfounds me and has convinced never to buy a car from that company, if I could remember what company it was. And that in itself proves the ad is a failure, I have no idea what car it is, making it impossible to buy the car even if I wanted to have a constant reminder of my misguided priorities whenever I gazed on the silver dust in the wood.

I am fairly certain I have never seen that ad, but Google tells me it’s for Infiniti. Emd has given you a pretty good answer, and now that we know it’s Infiniti, this is a point of differentiation in the luxury car market.
