LeBron: Stay or Go? A Poll.
The vocal have been vocalizing and the silent majority have stayed, well, silent. But where does LGT stand on LBJ? Should he take his cap with the damn interlocking N and Y and hit the highway? Or should he stick around to lead Akron and Northeast Ohio to glory and riches, in short, to be the kind of place where you open the blinds in the morning and see Nicole Kidman jogging up your street?

If he can hit and play corner outfield then lets discuss, otherwise I don’t know why this is being discussed on the Indians forum. I’m sure there is enough meltdown on the Cavs board that we don’t need it bleeding into our last place Indians…

A search of “LeBron” on LGT reveals 1,121 comments (well, 1,122 now). Obviously he’s relevant to Cleveland sports discussions, and this poll was conceived when Chuck’s Tribe Attendance post turned into an extended LBJ debate. I simply wanted to quantify the numbers here on both sides of the question. 203 people voted on the starting rotation poll during ST; the number of people actually voting in this poll would also give an indication of whether we should just all shut up about LeBron.
Other than that, I find LGT digressions generally fun and rewarding, myself.
Quite a few of those comments came before we had an SBN Cavs blog. On the other hand, Lebron has waded into baseball with his choice of caps.
I think it’s a relevant question, in this specific set of circumstances, whether Indians fans want a particular Cavs fan to stay or go. In general, however, Lebron discussions belong elsewhere.
Would love to have him stay in Cleveland.
As I was thinking about how the city might react to LBJ’s decision, I couldn’t help but recall THIS
