TBS dumps Philly-Boston game to televise Santana's historic third start
Sunday, 1:00 p.m. — Indians baseball on national basic cable! Yippee!
Also, the Indians have sold 10,000 extra tickets.
Also, this was all my idea.

Me and 10,000 other people are going to be very angry if tonight’s game is rained out and JD Martin pitches tomorrow.
Armando Galarraga gave up a 420-foot drive to Mark Frickin' Grudzielanik.
Won’t happen. The Nats have committed to pitching Strasburg exactly every five days at least until the All-Star break, making other starters schedule around his starts.
Won’t his appearance in the all-star game throw all of that off?

Me and my two friends are some of that 10,000. Driving in from Chicago, driving back that afternoon. Woof.
I did that to DC one time for a Nats/Tribe game

Can’t wait to see Lee Strasberg’s 100 mph fastball.

If any DC area folks are interested, a couple of us might get together at a bar in arlington to watch the game.
I just want to believe.
