Game 101: Yankees 8, Indians 0
Fausto Carmona pitched his worst game of the season, only lasting into the third. One of his best friends on the team had been traded just before the game, so perhaps that had a little to do with it, but regardless of the cause, he had absolutely no control, throwing like a pitcher in the early days of baseball ("where do you want it? Down and in? Here it comes...).The bullpen did a good job in keeping the score relatively reasonable, including a nice two inning stint from Jess Todd.
The Indians box office was glad that Alex Rodriguez did not hit his 600th home run even with the pitching machine on the mound, so the ballmongers will be buying STO tickets for the fourth straight game.

What I loved was the top of the 6th when Crowe made an awesome catch in front of the wall and Asdrubal got Gardner out on a play deep up the middle. Ken Singleton on YES had already gave Gardner credit for the base hit since he’s so fast when he had to eat some humble pie. Todd looked like what Jensen Lewis used to be. If you look at this picture long enough, you’ll see the sailboat.
