Can we hit someone for that little soft toss to first?

I really don’t understand the complaint, and Hammy and Mike are still talking about it.
When Cliff Lee fields baseballs like he doesn’t give a shit, he’s AWESOME. If Felix does it, he’s a young punk.
Steel Nick
That is valid. Maybe you have to earn the right to do this.
Either way, I still say we hit somebody.

I still think we should make a play for Hermida this offseason. He could be like Kearns but younger. Weglarz is still a season away.
Steel Nick
But the chances of Hermida being productive are probably slim to none. Was that the case with Kearns?

Finally we have one of those Pedroia/Youkilis/Papelbon players. In 4 years everyone’s gonna hate this guy because he’s good and a total prick.

Wow is #Indians Tyler Holt one fiery dude. Two ABs and in both chirping with ump and throws bat after flying out in 2nd AB with basesloaded
Oh hey, all the players I used as examples are Red Sox.
Steel Nick
Tribe escapes attendance basement!
Not by much, but attracting 4 fans per game more than the Marlins deserves at least a little recognition.
DP. Nice.

One no-hitter down, one to go.

It’s certainly getting more and more interesting right now.

Masterson has more balls than strikes. please tell me someone is warming up in the bullpen.
I have been complimented many times and they always embarrass me; I always feel that they have not said enough.
The way this game is going, by the time the call is made, it will likely be too late.

This is nuts. You definitely get the idea that the first team to score in this game will wind up winning it. Assuming a team does score.

Jayson Nix is fucking useless. Never met a first pitch he didn’t like to make shitty contact with.

The Mariners offense is an example of what would happen if you took a softball team and plopped them down in the middle of a major league game.

Surprised they don’t bring in a lefty here. Then again, not really surprised by these teams. C’mon Travis, channel Pronk.

So heartwarming to see Hafner hit that grand slam after he lost 175 pounds and shrunk a foot and a half over the last two years.
Steel Nick
Haha, is he really shorter too?

If ever there was a tailor-made “HAFNER HITS A DRIVE…” Hammy moment, this was it. But I’m sure, since it was the seventh, that it was Rosenhaus calling. Can anyone confirm?

Bryon Bullington going for a complete game shutout against the yanks, heads into the 8th having given up only 2 hits, struck out 4 and sits at 80 pitches.

Well, they have Soria warming. I wanted to see Bullington put them away. We’ll see if he comes back out.

Wow. Cool.
However, I am actually watching the game live. Normally the boxscore no hitter would be more exciting, but seeing the Yankees get shut down live is a really good experience.
